My brother and I have a birthday on July 1, which happens to fall on a Tuesday this year (fucking leap years)... Last year, I gave plenty of fair warning about the plans to go to Paramount's Carowinds and EVERYONE was hard up to join me, but in the end, everyone either flaked or straight up stood me up.
This year, with or without you, we are going for our birthday. To hell with group rates or trying to set anything up, since I have been shown the failure that comes with such an attempt. The date is ahead of you in the title to the thread, the link to the park's site is in this post for you to see what it will cost you, I am telling you that we WILL be there at opening time, and advising that you are all more than welcome to join us... 5 and a half months of lead time to get shit in order to tag along should be more than enough, but I will not allow flakers to fuck me out of another trip.

Dude I will be here all summer and more than likely I will have a season pass so its nothing for me to go to carowinds I will put that in my phone. Only way I won't be able to make it is if the ATL Greek Picnic is the same time.

The plan goes like this:
Park opens at 10:00am
We'll be leaving my house in Greensboro at about 9, which places us at the park AT 10 in the morning. Again, this time we're not trying to horn in on any group rates or anything, we're just gonna go and be there to have some fun for a day. I will have my brother and maybe his (by then) wife, probably a few family members and friends with us, no one is bringing their kids that I am aware of. We will stay until we just can't take it anymore or someone is killed in the face. We will then commence back to Greensboro, where we will be drinking until no one can feel their faces.
All of this is weather permitting, of course.

Forecast for Charlotte Saturday is 91° with a 15% chance of precipitation... Specifically, they're saying afternoon showers is the possibility, so we WILL be going through with this.
I will not be driving my coupe, I will either be riding with my brother or my friend who will be coming, as they both have air conditioning and cars that are more comfortable for an 85-mile trek.
