FS 1990 S13 TWIN TURBO LS1 rocket bunny CCW A1 PROJECT (WILLING TO SELL CHASSIS)

Its about time to part with my project.
Almost 90% of the parts are brand new. The only thing truly missing to finish the car are the seT of heads and injectors, and to your preference wire the car. If not you may use the wiring harness I currently have.
The bottom end is assembled, the LS3 heads are assembled, they are all hardened valves with dual springs etc. They just need to be mated to the block and engine assembled.
All of the custom parts and or metal fabrication was professionally done with Shiva at Straightline motorsports in Tamarac Fl.
In just metal Fab parts there are over $20k in invoices.
I will try to detail to the best of my knowledge below a small summary of parts and mods, but please keep in mind there are many more things with this build that I can possibly remember.

Please feel free to contact me. Enrique @ 305-923-1260
I will gladly answer any questions or send more detailed pictures, facetime etc for serious buyers.

I am willing to sell or trade for other toys.
Price is $28,000 OBO.
I COULD SELL ROLLING CHASSIS SEPARATELY.

This is pretty much the exact build that i have been planning to do. Man i know the price is going to be steep. I'm just curious what you're thinking of asking.

Thanks guys.

Honestly I would appreciate the forum to help me price it.
I have been away from the 240 scene for a few years so I'm not 100% up to date on demands etc.

Any help appreciated!

Here's my take on pricing. This isn't addressing your car specifically, but rather 240’s in general.

As soon as an S-chassis exceeds $15,000, it becomes exceedingly more difficult to sell. Regardless of the perceived value of the vehicle or if the price can be justified with a laundry list of modifications, I feel like they just don’t move very quickly. I see a lot of nice builds on here for a long time waiting for the right buyer. Perhaps it’s because when your get into that price range there are a lot more performance vehicles to consider.

As far is car is concerned, I have no idea where to begin with pricing it. It clearly has an absolute boatload of money under the hood, so I can’t imagine what its worth or who the target buyer would be.

Good Luck! Looks like it’s a hell of a ride.

Thanks bud, you are spot on.

I honestly haven't put a number on it for that reason.
It cant be priced in perspective to the amount of money put into it.

I am aware of the great loss that I am taking, however I didn't spend my money on this car thinking it was an investment. For that I would spent it on properties etc.

That being said I am open to trades.
I think this would be a considerable option to a person who might not have a ton of cash up front for a build, but does have a nice vehicle of value to barter.

Great Day everyone!

I am even willing to barter the car with no powertrain.

I could keep the drivetrain and stuff it in an older Apache truck or something.

honestly i think you'd be better off selling the engine setup separately.

looks like a massive amount of $ under the hood, and a ton of work into the car itself

Nice setup sir and fantastic work putting this together. As noted above, anytime the sales price for a car is above X value (I think its more like $12.5 to $13k) people have a hard time selling a car together. The community here doesnt typically bite at anything over that price range. To sell here you would most likely have to part the setup or head over to LS based forums and see if those guys with deeper pockets will snag it up. I have seen high value cars sold on those forums.

Good luck with sale sir. Impressive fabrication and execution.

Thanks for the kind words sir. Absolutely agree with you.

I haven't resorted to listing it on the LS forum due to the following:

I am interested in possibly parting with everything except the drivetrain. (I could keep that and stick it under an older pickup truck etc.)

Therefore, guys if there is anyone interested in the rolling chassis feel free to send over offers.

The real problem with S-Chassis cars is people who don't have money drive them. People start out in an S Chassis and then move on to other platforms. S Chassis cars are old, they are tough to get loans on because of their age, or cluster swaps so mileage isn't accurate. No bank will loan money on a car with a known swapped cluster or a 1990. Even if you do find a bank would lend on this car, they sure as shit aren't lending $30,000 on it, they will loan KBB value on it, or about $2,000. Someone with $30,000 is smart enough to know they shouldn't buy a car for $30,000 that is worth $2,000 to his insurance company. This car will be nearly impossible to sell as is. Sell the roller for $2000 and keep the drivetrain. You already acknowledged you're going to take a loss. I don't think you realize how big of a loss you're going to have to take to get rid of it.

Why are you selling it? Why not just finish it and enjoy it? I look at it like this, you could probably finish the car for $5,000 or sell it and it would cost you god only knows how much in the loss you'd have to take to move it. Then while you're enjoying it, have a for sale sticker on it. Maybe someone sees you run a 9 sec quarter mile and loves the car and pays you close to what you want for it. In non-running condition, you're going to have SUCH a hard time selling.

Best of luck to you anyway.

That front end is fucking hideous...but if it's seemingly a purpose built car, get in in. Free bump regardless and glws
