S13 Evap Line From Gas Tank

I've got an s13 with cut tubs, I've taken off the charcoal canister rubber hose & hard line all the way down to the rubber hose near the frame rail, should I run a rubber hose allowing it to vent away from the engine bay? or should I just cap it off? Can anyone who's done a charcoal canister delete let me know what you've done?

and yes I've seen previous charcoal delete threads, but would like more insight on it.

Just cut it as close to the gas tank as you can

I left it vent at the the front of the car leaving the hardline only intact, probly not the right way to do it, but haven't had an issue. Did that about 8 years ago lol
