Need some help with wheel fitment - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

I have a 96 s14 and today I tried on a wheel 18x9.5 +22 with 265 tyre on the rear and it was sticking out of the guard about 30mm, from my research I would of thought this size wheel should fit perfectly. A lot of my running gear I know is out of a r33 from previous owner that’s all i have to go off. Any help would be appreciated

So compared to a 9" +30 (R33 GTR wheel spec) a 9.5" +22 wheel will stick out 14mm farther than the GTR wheel. So shouldn't be too crazy.

I'd verify the offsets of your wheels to make sure they're what you think they are. I ran into this before where the guy said they were +25 offset and ended up being +15. Worked out, but I learned how to read the stamping inside the wheel after that.

Thats a lot of wheel/tire without a roll and pull.

They were genuine te37 with specs on wheel. I have r32 gtr wheels on now and even they poke about 5-10mm. That should’ve been my first clue. I just bought 18x9 +45 and they sit just flush with the guard which is already rolled.
