tranny swap...?

Alright,I was wondering if a KA24DE 5 speed tranny can bolt up to a s13 redtop sr20det, ive searched and it tells me i can use the sr bellhousing with the ka tranny, any in depth details to the conversion, and what kind of work is involved, just want to know, to see if its worth it or not,or if im better off getting another sr20det tranny and if so where could i find one.

thanks,
mark

the transmissions are really easy to disassemble for these cars all you have to do is remove the bolts inside the bellhousng and the ones that hold the front and rear of the trans together pull off the bellhousing and move it to the new trans then reassemble, fairly straightforward. as for the absloute easiest route? Get an SR trans and swap them but either choice is farily simple
