What would be a good combo for the wheel sizes i want?

It will be my dd/track car and love the wide stance on it.

Someone help me out please.
should be fine if you run a beefy tire like a 40-45 series sidewall, anything smaller, and a 30mm fender would be more than enough. just buy a 30mm and pinch it wider if need be. That's what I did, and i have more aggressive fitment. same sizing.

read the "whole" wheel fitment thread. people have done it...just take your time, and look through it.

background: 95 S14, stock engine, welded diff, shocks and springs.

question: my car has a weird shaking that has gotten worse over time. It doesnt happen in 1-3 gear, but you feel it in 4th and 5th, so im guessing it has something to do with the speed im traveling. It only happens under acceleration, but if i either cruise at a constant speed or just decelerate it doesnt shake. The shaking feels like its coming from the rear of the car. any ideas?

Bolt patterns are different. S13 is in R-12 and R-134a. S14 is R134a only. Supposedly there are hose connection differences. But I have not seen that for myself.

There is a difference in the location and size of the outlets. I just don't know the specifics.

There's a little chirping noise that's coming from my car, at first I thought it was the turbo but now I'm thinking it might be leaking somewhere since I'm not blowing any smoke and it doesn't smell like oil at all. Is this the turbo thats making the noise, an exhaust leak (some on youtube sound like this), manifold to turbine leak, or manifold to block? Or maybe something else?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YlA0bOLBHM

I made a small video, it's a little hard to hear. I'll probably make another one tomorrow, also my a/f according to my Turbo Timer is going nuts lol.

Thanks in advance.

different between two wheels with the same offset is half an inch. offset is measured by the mounting point compared to the middle of the rim. if the rim is an inch wider, that would leave half an inch on each side of the mounting point....if that at all makes sense...it does in my head....should be right.

i have but its tough to judge without tires mounted...and it appears we have the same theory on the 1/2" difference if all other measurements are the same lol.
I'm sure i'll figure it out though this thread helped quite a bit

Its a pretty involved job, but yeah, thats what you need. You described the exact symptoms of bad subframe bushings. While youre in there, check the bushings on the rear arms as well. I need to do my subframe bushings, and was quote $260 for labor to have a shop do it, and I think thats the route im going to go. For reference- Im swapping my SR in but dont want the task of doing subframe bushings. Its just a bitch without a lift.

lol, no I'm not talking about the bov. You can barely hear the chirping in the beginning of the video, I guess I can try to make a new one. Car chirps whenever I accelerate, I figured something was wrong with my turbo. Like it might be scraping or something, but then I read up on leaks and how they sound similar. Thanks for the help, I'll post another video tonight.

Rear breaks make a sound whenever I break while going in reverse.

I do need to replace my pads pretty soon, but would that be that problem?
since it only does the sound when im reversing?

just wondering has any one had smoke come out of exhaust and also pcv ( my pcv and breather vents into the air only, not intake and not a filter or catch can) same time. I think valve seals but its a lot of smoke and i wanted to know if anyone has had or heard of this. its a shit load of smoke by the way and there is no loss of power so i no think its head gasket but i will check compression:bash :

Okay so I have an Sr with an odyssey battery and for the past month I've been traveling and haven't had time to drive my car so the battery died and I went out and bought a battery tender and it wouldn't even detect the battery so I took it out and jumped it with my truck(jump started, haha that sounded funny so I'll leave it like that) and now the tender will detect it and charge it but when I put it back in my car nothing happens.

Bad connection? Bad battery? I don't want to waste money on a battery if I don't need one what do you guys think?

Thankssss
