RB Running a compression test without the Intercooler fully hooked up

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've been searching around and haven't really found a direct answer.

I'm looking to buy an rb20det from this guy and am going to run a compression test on it today, however at this moment the intercooler piping isn't all fully connected. Would this throw off the compression test at all?

Definitely willing to connect all the piping as it's not much work at all but just curious if having the intercooler not fully hooked up would it lead to an inaccurate compression test?

Thanks
