What is this?

What the heck is this sensor right here? Its right next to the coolant temperature sensor. The plug in the foreground is supposed to be attached to it, but i cant get it to stick on. Whenever i would look at it before, the plug seemed barely held onto the sensor, perhaps even with some kinda gluish type stuff.

Also, does anyone know where i can get a new plug for my coolant temp sensor? As you can see in the pic, one of the wires on mine is broken. Probly havta see if i can nab one from a junkyard or something.

(picture should hopefully be visible now...i put it on imageshack)

Anyone know howto make the plug re-attach to the sensor? Cant quite figure out how besides trying to shove the round lead on the sensor into the somewhat round-ish hole in the plug clip.

it's a spade connector. the spade on your sensor has broken off (and is probably inside the rubber guy.

Ah..i hadnt realized the thing sticking out of the plug was actually supposed to be attached to the sensor and THEN go into the plug, i just always thought the spade connector was part of the plug.

Ive never been able to find this paticular sensor at kragen, but with the help of one of my managers there, i managed to get one.

Also nabbed a new plug/wire for the coolant temp sensor, so i should be good to go.
