R32 GTR diff in s13

Has anyone ever installed an r32 gtr diff in an s13 subframe ?

I heard it's like the q45 so you'd use a q45 and a z32 tt axle with gtr/z32tt/q45 hubs.

Swap the rear cover from GTR to S13

But what about the input shaft ? can I just swap an s13 one in and bolt up my driveshaft ?

gtr input shaft for reference

Just replace the diff input shaft with the S13 diff input shaft, that's it .. by the way you need to use a torque wrench for that so that you don't damage pinion by over tighten the input shaft nut

It is. Output shafts splines are bigger as well as axles

Can't you just use the R32 axles? I thought R32 diff and axles bolted right into S13.

Well, i tried to swap the input shafts and it won't work. The splines are bigger on the gtr diff and so is the nut.

What should I do now, since I won't be able to bolt up an s13 4 bolt driveshaft ? Get a driveshaft made with a gtr yoke ?

I'm not 100% on this as I have never personally done it but you may have to follow the same steps as if you had an early model Q45 diff...

That's actually the guide I was going by! Thanks for the input

I measurar the gear inside and it turns out it's an R230 with a 3.69 which makes it a z32 tt diff. Looks like I need to have a talk with the person who sold this to me and wasted my time

Thanks for the input everyone! Much appreciated
