Bringing this thread back from the dead because I couldn't find many good pictures/reviews of the gktech areo mirrors. They're pretty much the only aero mirror option for us LHD guys who want to retain mirror functionality so I figured I'd post up some pics since I just scooped a set.

Considering these go for under $100 shipped on FRsport I'm surprised by the quality, they adjust smoothly and the glass doesn't shake around or move when driving. Compared to the east bears I had on my hatch these are much better in terms of construction. I'm not sure if I'm sold on the look with my otherwise stock aero but that's more of a subjective thing. These are definitely a good affordable option for those seeking a decent areo mirror, especially for LHD guys.

I agree, although they don't seem to tilt up nearly as much as the eBay led ganador reps do. They actually sit at more or less the same angle as my friends authentic ganadors, I'll have to grab pic with the cars next to each other for reference sometime. That said, I'm going to rock these for a bit while I track down a nice set of aeromakers. I figured I would give these a shot but after seeing them on the car I found that I prefer the look of the east bear/aeromaker to ganador style and I'm willing to give up functionality for the look lol.

Just installed my manual power marker mirrors on the s13 and holy shit, the mirrors are pretty much useless but man do they look good on the outside lol. Any tips on making the mirrors actually useful?

I feel the same way about my Ganadors. I have a broadview rear view mirror that is curved which helps me out.

I never had major issues seeing out of my Ganador mirrors on my S13. The passenger side mirror is more or less worthless for sure, but that is easily solved by turning your head and checking your blind spot. I could see out of the driver's side mirror if I leaned forward slightly. Surprisingly, I could see fairly well out of my East Bears.

I know a lot of people buy those circular adhesive blind spot mirrors and add those- they just don't look the best unfortunately.

I made plates out of fiberglass, not the best but it works. I mainly wanted something that flowed a bit more than just a flat plate.

That's about what all of the decent pairs on YAJ have been going for (that aren't prompt decision price) from what I have seen lately. It's crazy.

I noticed that as well. Really disheartening. But seriously, so many cool 180s are coming out of the shadows in the last few months, many with these mirrors. I know style ain't cheap but there has to be some exclusive Final Bout approved Ganador sharing network that I don't know about. Guess I gotta start saving.
