JZ to VQ/350z/G35 transmission adapters!!!!

Introducing the Maverick Motorsports JZ/VQ 6 speed Adapter Kit!

This kit allows you to easily bolt on a stronger, better shifting, and cheaper 350z/370z/g35/g37 6 speed transmission to ANY JZ engine.

Similar to our other kits, we provide a CNC cut, CAD designed adapter plate made from 6061-T6 aluminum. We also include a pilot bearing sleeve to adapt the Nissan pilot bearing in the JZ crank. Additionally we include all the hardware needed(engine bolts, transmission bolts, and flywheel bolts).

The other crucial part of the swap is the custom flywheel made specifically for this swap kit. It is an aluminum 6061-T6 billet machined flywheel with a replaceable friction surface. At 14lbs, it is HALF of the weight of an OEM flywheel.

Best of all, any single plate 350z clutch will bolt right up to it. You are free to choose any clutch manufacturer that makes a kit for a 350z. Holding capacities of 740tq+ available from clutch makers! We also have a 1400tq+ twin disc option as well.

As with our other kits you will still need:

-Bellhousing machining($80)
-Shifter bracket relocation($125)
-Custom Transmission mount(availability TBD).
-Clutch line
-Driveshaft

All adapter plates are Laser scanned, CAD designed, CNC machined and real world tested. All scanning and machining is done in an ISO9001:2008 certified machine shop who specializes in MilSpec/Aerospace/Medical machining.

If you previously used one of my SR/KA kits all you need is the adapter and flywheel. The bellhousing mod and shifter mod are identical. It saves you money from doing the work twice!

Please contact [email protected] for further details.

Thank you!
George

Josh's JZ swapped S13. He opted for the VQ trans with our kit. His setup is using our flywheel with a 350z clutch kit. The kit allows you to choose whatever 350z clutch you want to go with.

Any plans for an adapter to run a VQ transmission on an RB? Would definitely open up some choices. Always amazed no one makes one already.

With this plate can you still bolt/unbolt the starter without takin the tranny off? I know with the Collins adapter you have to remove the tranny, unless you weld bolts onto the adapter plate. And how much do you need to machine the bell housing?

Yes you can. The transmission does not need to come off to take the starter out.

I do not. The stack height and everything else is specifically made to work with our adapter.

Testing both parts out right now. The jig for the shifter should be done soon and available. The trans bracket is a bit more difficult because there are so many variations of the JZ mount kit out there.
