Hi guys, I post alot on honda-tech, but I'm new to this site...and I don't drive a Nissan. I understand that alot of the 240 guys use D2 coilovers on their cars and I was just ondering what people thought of them. I'm trying to get a wide spectrum of opinions before diving into a purchase like that. My application is 1991 CRX Si (I'm sorry

). Also, for you guys that do ride on D2 what do you think would be a good spring rate for my car. I was thinking of something like 7/8's or 8/8's. Thanks for the help.

i have a buddy that has D2's on a CRX..he runs an 8/9 rate and suprisingly very bearable...

ok, out of curiosity, what makes you think people on a nissan board, specifically a 240sx board, would have knowledge about your application? People couldn't help out at honda-tech or SRO?

I'm just sorta confused, that's like asking a rabbi about the intricacies of old testament catholic dogma...

The physics involved with what you're asking are completely different between our cars and yours, FR vs FF, huge wheelbase differences, curb weight, weight balance etc etc etc. Few of the experiences of our people will be of any value to you for the choice you're trying to make.
