well i am putting my sohc back together, and i matched up the punch mark on the rod and the oil pump, then slid it into the front cover, then i go to slide the dist back on, and it seems to be in a different position from when i first marked it, its about 180 degrees off, if this because its a different oil pump?also does anyone know much about removing the mess of hardlines behind your head? would i be ok to just leave that off?

also anyone know what these go to??
