Question Coilover Damper Knob... Not moving

I've got a set of Megan Street Coilovers.

No complaints whatsoever, today is the first day in the 6 months of me owning these coilovers that I have adjusted the dampener. Everything's good, it takes a few minutes to settle in but the biggest problem is that the damper knob on the rear passenger side coilover doesn't move.

What could possibly cause this? And how can I fix it.

Thanks in advance.

If its on the bottom of the strut he means, since some have it on the top

But you said rear so its on the top.

Have you called Megan Racing yet?

Certain Coilovers have inverted struts which puts the adjustment knob facing the ground by the wheel. This can cause issues with the knob becoming jammed or stuck. My stance coilovers had a little rut in them and it took some effort to get them moving again.

I didn't think megans came with an inverted strut. As far as the knob not moving, how much effort did you put into turning the knob? Have you tried moving it both ways cause maybe it's at max adjustment in a certain direction. Other than that you maybe just have a coilover that is jammed.

I haven't called Megan yet. I found out today so I figured they wouldn't be open. (Sunday) But I'll call them first thing in the morning.

Ahh okay. So just because it's a 'Budget' brand doesn't necessarily mean it's a common problem?

The knob is at the top. I don't have much room to move my fingers but the others are super easy. I came at it with a wrench but I think I might just have to take it out and adjust it...

Is it possible to unjam it?

I have the same issue with my pbm coils. it sucks and I wish I knew how to fix it. I would take it to them but I have no time these days. But yeah. I owuld love to know how to fix this on my own. sorry to steal your thread but my friend also had this problem with his megans. he ended up sending them back and getting a new set.

They're Megans. It's a top adjustment. Megans are NOT inverted people.

As far as the knob not moving, I dunno. Which way are you turning? Clockwise is stiffer, counter is looser. When going stiffer, you get to full stiff and then it won't turn anymore. Is it possible you're on full stiff trying to go stiffer?

Ive had my megan streets for like 3 yrs. I had this problem, try completely removing the spinning pin unit. hold down on the bottome screw so that you can untscrew the top part and try putting it back in after working the spinning part around a little.
