Need help on my Z32 TT.

so im doing a jdm swap in my 95 300TT. Its been a while and i cant find the pics i took of the engine bay when i pulled the engine 2yrs ago. If anyone could send me a pic od the passenger side throttle cable, where its mounted by the battery, it would help alot on remembering where everything goes. Thanks.

You don't need the second throttle cable, it's for the cruise control.

Yea, most people delete the cruise control to make the engine bay less complicated.

Is cool, but let's be honest. How many times do you use it in a month? And is not completely deleted you stay with the selenoid and when ever you are going for long trips you install it back. It takes 3 mints.

Ouch! 9,600 miles a year as a part time!!! If I do full time pluss joy rides and hunting is almost 15,000 a year! Oh the gas!

Lol J/k install it, and it hooks from around the passenger side strut tower.

Mine has been on the garage for 1 1/2 year, doing upgrades and stuff then when i finish putting everything together one of my turbos is smoking, then the week after I moved from state. The car is up north and I'm down south....

Yea it hurst! Specially when I was the one doing all the work. This is a picture of all the stuff I got for it and still haven't have a chance to drive it. So imagine how I feel after seen the pictures...

one should be using their CC daily, assuming you commute via highway/non congested areas. it really helps to save gas ($$)

Actually it is said that CC is not good for gas.

Shifting below 3000rpm and when in a stretch popping it on 5th os good for gas.

ive never read that. all things ive ever read point to cc being good on gas. as well as personal experience on multiple vehicles. do you have any references? OR, why do they say it's bad?

1 point is
when youre driving, the big and small bumps in the pavement make your foot move, causing you to slightly let off or depress the accelerator, all that starts to add up, which the automotive industry has proven. which is why some newer cars have incorporated a delay when you depress the gas.

but again, i do a lot of highway commuting. 163 to the 8 to get to work, or I5 from sd to LA on the weekends.

i agree shifting below 3k and driving in a higher gear (lower) rpm is good as well, i do both. but im just sticking to the topic of cc.

I have a comuter car and use the cc. Its an 02 camry with a 3.0v6. I get 29.5 and that includes all usage of the car and doing 75 to 80 daily for about 100miles. And i smash. It shifts at about 4k. F it, gas is expensive, but i love driving fast.

I can't recall if it was the owners manual Of the 300zx or the murano. One of the 2 said something about cruise control consuming more gas as is it stays with high Rpms or something, or on a consistent speed.

Now is a fact! Under 3000rpm shifting and on highway on 5th doing 55mph will save you gas. You can feel the engine driving smoothly when you do this kind of things, on a NA or on a Turbo.

Cruise control is for the driver to rest their feet, from long periods of driving. I love putting CC and bracking and accelerating with the pull or push of the stick. Is like controlling a remote control car.

I see no point in deleting the cruise control. The claim that it clean ups the engine bay is moot since there are so many other things jammed in the bay. Those of us who actually drive our cars regularly or take them on long trips know how useful the cruise control is. Also, when driving roads known to have cops "fishing" it's good to set the cruise control to avoid a ticket; especially since the 300zx stands out.

I agree. I like the cc and the ac. Im gonna keep the luxuries. Besides, ive removed so many other things to help clean up the bay.
