Overfender Guide

Ok I've searched the forum and google and have not found the concrete info I'm looking for. What are all the options for rear over fenders(in my case for an s13 coupe, but I'm fine with someone who has knowledge about s13 hatch/s14/s15 posting so it may help someone down the road!). So far the ones I know of are the Origin overfenders(I'm sure there are many other brands and options I'm missing.)

Origin Type 1 (Available in 50mm)
Origin Type 2 (Available in 50mm)
Origin Tatakadasi fender pull (Available in 30mm/50mm)

I have no clue what any differences are in these three. After doing some image searching on google I found mixed results but the trend seemed to be:

Origin Type 1 - Smooth sides
Origin Type 2 - Stepped sides or Sides with a fine body line in them (not sure which one)
Origin Tatakadasi fender pull - Appears to be type 2 with a molded 'roll' to the fender

If you add please try to put your info in this format and i will add it to the original post

Brand and name of overfender(Sizes its available in)
What s-chassis it is for
Price
A description of its physical appearance/what makes it different

Hopefully we can get some concrete knowledge on this subject and possibly get this to be a full "Overfender Guide" sticky for all the s chassis'

Overfenders Guide:

S13

Origin Lab type 1(50mm)
s13 coupe/hatchback
$306
Thin body line(similar to chargespeeds), follow window/trunk lines, wrap around taillights

Origin Lab type 2(50mm)
s13 coupe/hatchback
$306
Stepped side, follow window/trunk lines, wrap around taillights

Origin Lab type 3(55mm)
s13 coupe/hatchback
$395
OEM body line, flared fender, follow window/trunk lines, wrap around taillights

Origin Lab Tatakadasi fender pull(30mm/50mm)
s13 coupe/hatchback
$306
Appear to be smooth side with flare around wheel well(simulated fender roll), follow window/trunk lines, wrap around taillights

Extreme Dimensions "Gt-R" style/Duraflex B-Sport(50MM)
s13 coupe
$299
Which would be a copy of Origin Type 2, fitment was surprisingly good, they are thin and VERY flexible. Only Issues i have with them are:
1. They do not have the body line (the little bead in the middle of the body)
2. The gas filler cap area needs a bit of work, for the cap to fit (not a big issue though)
Overall very pleased with them. -japslapsilvia

VIS Drift X(30mm)
s13 coupe/hatchback
$249
Look like they follow window/trunk lines, wrap around taillights and have OEM body line through them

chargespeed(50mm)
s13 coupe/hatchback
$499.00
top notch, fitment was absolutely perfect. very little prep work required, I primed and wet sanded once and they were ready for paint. they wrap around the tail lights, and come up to the door. notice how the lines ride the window and trunk lines perfect. they come with a nice gas door assembly, but im a ricer and i like how it looks sunk... overall I love them. -jsu1012

S14

Origin Lab type 2(50mm)
s14
$306
Follow window/trunk/taillight lines, with a stepped side. In my opinion the fit it absolutely horrible. A ton of sanding and straightening has to be done so things line up how they should.

If you really did google and looked at the lines and styles of the overs, you'd have each down within 30 min. but i'll play along.

here's mine:
Brand: chargespeed , 50mm
s13 coupe
price:$659.00 shipped.
quality: top notch, fitment was absolutely perfect. very little prep work required, I primed and wet sanded once and they were ready for paint. they wrap around the tail lights, and come up to the door. notice how the lines ride the window and trunk lines perfect. they come with a nice gas door assembly, but im a ricer and i like how it looks sunk... overall I love them.

Thank you for contributing, car looks great, I actually follow you on Instagram already lol. How were your overs fastened? Most I've seen are riveted but yours almost look factory smooth.

Maybe you guys can help me. I'll of course will measure and fine tune myself, but some insight is awesome. 1993 Nissan 240sx S13 (will 5 lug swap) I have Front: 17x10 +5 (215/45/R17) & Rear: 18x11 +25 (245/40/R18) . What spacer/overfender sizes would you think would be the best match. I want atleast 50mm rear fender, atleast 25mm front. Thanks!

Depends on how much camber you want to run. That front size would be too easy. I did 18x10.5 , -3 up front on metal fender. The rear depending on ride height and camber would be 12-20mm spacers .

Here is mine, they are Extreme Dimensions "Gt-R" style 50MM, Which would be a copy of Origin Type 2.

Fitment was surprisingly good, they are thin and VERY flexible. Only Issues i have with them are:
1. They do not have the body line (the little bead in the middle of the body)
2. The gas filler cap area needs a bit of work, for the cap to fit (not a big issue though)
Overall very pleased with them.

this is just tape holding them on

I used Rivit Nuts to fasten them (low profile allen head screws)

Sorry i dont currently have any better pics of the back

Congrats, you're the first s14 to post in this thread! Lol but that surprises me, previously I had never heard anything bad about origin products, but it has been noted and I'll post this in the original post, thanks!

9/10 wtf???? Both sides have obvious differences in how they are cut. On the drivers side there is a gap in the front of the fender well. Whats up with the passenger side around the tail light? Looks like a kid cut it with some scissors.

It's extreme dimensions... wasn't expecting perfect looking parts. Maybe I gave it too high of a rating then if you guys really think it fits that bad. For the price I got them for and they fit right on out of the box, I think it was worth the money. The main reason I got them was to cover up my quarter panel bondo job by a previous owner.

I Think so too. The previous owner just told me he ran a 27mm (1.06) spacer with a 50mm fender and the fitment was perfect. My 1" spacer should be around the same. Shouldn't make a huge difference. I always have the option to tuck my 18's

First photo is a 30mm over fender on the REAR placed on the side. I think 50mm rear is the idle size. OKAY. The front... front Wheels. 17x10 +5 with a 1" spacer. I think 30mm front will be perfect with some camber.

is the 1" spacer necessary? seems like if 50mm overs were perfect with 1" spacers, 30mm overs should be really close without 1" spacers... might have to run without camber, but I don't personally see that as a bad thing.

I agree with Kuma, maybe because I'm not a fan of the 50mm over! I will remove the spacer and use the 30mm

I have 18x10.5 +0 with no spacer and 30mm over ( I still need to add camber )

Nice, yes my goal is F: 30mm R: 50mm. I love the 50mm because when you look from the back. The wheel and tire is showing from the side, yet isn't poking out of the fender.

Do they make 30mm front s13(pop up) 180sx front fenders? 30mm would be perfect. I've been doing some searching and haven't found anything but 30mm rears.

How is VIS fitment? I could go 25mm with a ton of camber lol
