Any chance any one knows if z33 fitting r the same? Looking to do z33 rack swap next time I need a rack cuz finding a good S chassis hard to come by.

I found a forum and it specifies the same threads. I also found a YouTube video where a guy is replacing the rack. Honestly, the fittings look the same. I know the high pressure fitting should fit and that forum confirms it.

I've had some overseas people buy fittings for their r32 and advised that they work on other Nissan's. I just can't physically guarantee that they fit.

Well hopefully one day I can do that lol. Right now I have an idea for the s30 suspension.

Hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to give everyone an update. The fittings are currently being machined. The machine shop advised that I would get the fittings hopefully early next week. As a reminder I will be testing every fitting on my spare rack before shipping.

When i destroyed my rack high pressure threads, a friend helped me take the piece of aluminum off the rack (its like 2 bolts plus the steering shaft) and he welded a -6an into where the old threads used to be. The housing has 2 O-rings inside it where it goes up into the shaft.

Still leaks fluid but I found it was seeping out of the double O-rings under the steering shaft part.

I think by then you need a rebuild right? Since I've installed my homemade fittings and now my prototype fittings, I haven't had one single leak. The fittings I'm producing are being made more accurate than my prototypes. I imagine the production fittings are less likely to leak compared to my prototypes.

Probably one of these. My rack leaked from the top of the pinion too.

You can get an aftermarket rack seal kit, or just those few from the dealer, for about $50.

edit: the "Pinion Oil Seal" at the bottom should be highlighted too.

UPDATE!!

Well I got the fittings in my hand. I'll be testing every single fitting on my spare rack once I get home. Let me tell you these fittings look great! If anyone is interested in a set of fittings please make sure to hit me up.

Also to finish your powersteering system, here is the fitting for your pump which gets rid of the banjo bolt. Its flow controlled as well.

How do you get the fitting out of the pump to put that one in? Does it just thread out? Asking because I didn't see a way to get it out since the oem fitting is pretty much all threads.

Its just a banjo bolt with 2 washers. Just straight thread it out.....

I assume SR20 PS Pump vs. KA PS Pump is the same

Welp, I overlooked the part where you said banjo bolt. Yeah, the SR pump has a threaded stud.

Guess I need to dig around the garage and see if I can find a KA PS pump to use, I'd love to get rid of that damn factory piece.

ETA: I think the ones with the threaded stud are S14/S15 SR power steering pumps.

I am sure the S13 SR have the banjo as well, because mine is s13.... Maybe not CA.... I tried looking online for KA pumps and some have thread and some doesn't. But buy k00laid's fittings and make a high pressure AN -6 line and never leak again.

Yeah, I need to pick up the fittings from kool, already have p/s line and fittings to make, just need to try and find a banjo bolted ps pump so I can replace that fitting too. Pretty sure I have one laying around.

Do you know the thread size of this flow control valve? I'm not seeing it on their website. I need to figure out if this will fit a vq35hr power steering pump because i'm having issues blowing my steering rack with my vq swap. I'm guessing I should go with the smallest valve/fitting at first?
