God Nissan... put this thing out of it's misery already. Who is even still buying enough of these for them to stay profitable?

I wonder when Nissan is gonna make a "We Give Up Edition" of the Z...?
Least they could do is take the car out to the cornfield and put a bullet between its eyes like you would do with ANY farm animal no longer pulling its weight due to old age or sickness. |

I firmly convinced the powers that be at Nissan are clueless Frenchman. Who are only interested in being decidedly French and have lost fact that Nissan is and was a Japanese car company not Renaults Red Headed step child.

They need to be like $25k at this point. There is zero reason to pay over $4k more than an entry level Mustang or Camaro for the Z, IMO.

^^^See? Now thats why I keep posting all the Kia stuff. We know they're gonna drop an FR coupe at some point... It's just a question of when and for how much?
What is that thing?

It's a shooting brake concept called the Proceed. Everything they are doing right now is gold.

Wagons are making a strong comeback right now actually. The reason CUVs are booming is because people want the utility. Wagons offer that with a lower profile. I'm genuinely considering the new Regal wagon. I'm waiting for them to hit dealers so I can see one in the flesh.

^^^I had to go & google what that looked like... Its not bad. I'm all onboard with a wagon resurgence if they follow Telsa's lead on how to fit 7 passengers in something about the size of the Model S.

Sooo the Kia stinger is a Charger, and shooting brake is the new Magnum, got it.
I hope the Z4 will looks just like the concept, have a 3rd pedal, and more importantly... I hope I can afford it. [emoji23] I don't have high hopes for the new Supra appearance. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk |

Shit bro... can you afford the current Z4? They'll probably be similar in price & they aren't exactly inexpensive. I'm not above waiting a few years (more like 10+)...lol

And I've stated previously why I think the Supra will have one as well.

I wish companies would go back to the reverse seating third row wagon. It makes so much sense.

I would guess its a safety issue. I would not want to see what would happen to those kids in the above pic if a Suv hit it doing 45mph.

^^^They got a rear crash safety rating of GOOD... but yeah, I agree. I wouldn't want to confirm that with my family. Looks dicey.
But I'd welcome other manufacturers to figure out a way to further increase safety reinforcement. That means more weight, I guess...lol

Brings back memories of riding in the back of my mom's old busted ass station wagon. Used to make faces and moon following cars.

Yeah my grandpa had an old wagon like that and my cousins and I would go buck wild back there messing with cars behind us.

I'll be curious to see how Tessa holds up in a year or so after all the dope EV's that got announced last night start rolling out from BMW, MB, Jaguar, and Honda. IMO they are going to suddenly not look so special and it's growing pains will

It should be interesting indeed. I think their growing pains might become more apparent with the rollout of the Model 3. Hopefully they can have lessons learned from it before they rollout the crossover Model Y. I also like the recent news that Telsa is looking at rolling out supercharger stations in dense urban areas.

Speaking of the other guys, you guys seen the new Honda EV concept? Probably won't be RWD, but still pretty retro cool looking... Looks like the 1st gen Civic...

There's just no WAY I'd consider a Model 3 over that Honda or MB, A Model S over that BMW or a model X over the Audi. They are too shoddily made and designed.

Unlike Nissan the Honda is slated for production. Sure it won't have alllllll the retro cues of the concept (certainly not the wheels) but there's enough character there for that thing to be a hit.
As much as I LOVED the IDX I'm not sure I'd buy an EV version. Not sure exactly why I can't fully get on board the EV wagon.
