Odd brake light issue...

Bone stock 1989 s13, brand new tail light bulbs, works ok without the headlights on, but when they are on... only passenger side brake light works...?

Also, the driver side is dimmer when the brake lights are on... any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I checked the grounds, all seem to be fine...

Sounds like a draw or wires touching, trace wires out or start removing bulbs till problem corrects itself/improves. Use the FSM for wiring diagrams.
