copy and pasted from Scott Buwalda's original for sale thread. I bought it from him a year ago after selling my FD v8rx7. It is a beautiful, great sounding car. Looking to buy a truck or large SUV and a 5wheel/trailer for family trips. This 5series never saw snow. I still have my daily and only take this out on nice days.

This car was used to demonstrate Hybrid Audio Technologies products and is owned and has been meticulously cared-for by me. Hybrid Audio prides itself in not only producing the finest speakers and speaker systems at any price, but also producing the finest show cars that gather attention at events and win trophies in organized competition. This vehicle is no different.

This vehicle was displayed at twelve events in the 2014 season, from Atlanta GA, to Huntsville AL, to Indianapolis IN, to Sparta KY, to Nashville TN, and a bunch of places in between. It has been used for dealer tours throughout the balance of 2015 (mostly Midwest, like Chicago, Minneapolis, etc.). Seen and enjoyed by thousands of spectators!

With the exception of show outings, the car is stored in a warehouse under a custom car cover (included).

Approximately $77,000.00 has been invested (fully documented) into this car to produce a well-rounded luxury car that emphasizes sound quality and proper reproduction of the musical source, with a good balance as well in the styling and performance categories. The car has never been tracked / raced and has been "babied" its tenure with us. The future owner of this vehicle is encouraged to use it for show purposes, or just relaxing behind the wheel of this amazing vehicle (or both).

Custom Sikkens Paint Job (all Sikkens materials used, from reducer to clear coat); cut and buffed to mirror finish - no orange peel.
Custom 3M™ Scotchgard Paint Protection Film Pro Series clear bra on bumper, 1/3-hood, and side mirrors.
M5 Mtech front and rear bumpers and side skirts.
Foglights for LCI Mtech bumper.
Mtech kidney grilles, color-matched to semi-gloss black trim color.
Dinan trunk spoiler (color matched).
Mtech low-profile roof spoiler (color matched).
Tinted headlights using protective 3M overlay.

Suspension is "sporty" without being too harsh for highway travel.
Custom Forgeline RB3C 20x9 front, 20x10 Rear; exposed ARP hardware, chrome lip wheels were $8,000.00 all by themselves).
Fenders rolled for tire clearance.
Nitto NT555 tires with 85% tread wear left.
Slotted and drilled EBC rotors.
EBC “Red stuff” ceramic brake pads.

Audio:

Audio build valued well in excess of $10,000.00 with parts and labor.
Total system power is 3,200 watts.
Total weight added is about 100 lbs., easily overcome by the near doubling of stock horsepower output with performance mods.
Full custom trunk layout (with OEM/stock theme) for three 15-inch subwoofers in fiberglass enclosure, wrapped in matching vinyl. Subwoofers are mounted "baskets out" for increased visual appeal. Wiring neatly organized in expandable tubing with heat-shrunk terminations. Enclosure type: sealed trunk infinite baffle (uses trunk volume as an enclosure without appreciable amount of trunk area lost - the trunk is still very usable for a variety of purposes).
Full custom trunk layout (with OEM/stock theme) for five amplifiers in custom metal structure amplifier rack in former spare room tire well - five amplifiers vertically stacked in three layers with automated fresh-air cooling for underside of spare tire well, trimmed in vinyl insert panels and 1/2-inch thick tempered glass. Courtesy white LED lights prompted with a door or trunk opening highlight the amplifier installation in the former spare tire well; lighting is on quick-release disconnect for ease of servicing.
Custom fuse / distribution assembly hidden within amplifier rack area to protect all componentry used.
Large ampere fuse holder located at battery, feeding main fuse input for audio system, for protection.
All wiring in passenger compartment and trunk compartment protected with expandable tubing and heat-shrunk ends.
Custom "blow-through" between rear seat backs for compound loading of the subwoofers into the passenger compartment. This blow-through is protected with expandable mesh grille to protect subwoofer cones.
Custom a-pillars (with OEM/stock theme) for wide-band midrange drivers, and custom vented under-seat midbass locations (refer to magazine article for details).

Additional info:

The Borla muffler has been removed and a resonator installed. Also these pictures do not show the new trunk spoiler and roof spoilers. I will upload additional "cell phone pics" soon showing those.
