SR r33 gtr turbo on sr20?

hey just wondering if this could work? like what kinda flange would i need and would this be an upgrade or no difference? my buddy is getting stock r33 gtr turbos off an rb26 and he wants to put one on his sr and prolly sell the other... would this be worth it? thanks

If you have an S14 SR20DET you already have a better turbo. R33GTR's used t25 journal bearing turbos. If you want an upgrade get an S15 or Garrett GT28R (same as S15, if that's not available).

well this is a s13 sr20.... so how much difference would it make? like anything? maybe faster spool up more power? im just trying to get soe info.. limited on funds and getting them cheap

aren't R33 turbos T3 flanged?

If you have a stock exhaust manifold, you need a T2 flanged turbo.

well thats why im asking i can get a new manifold or whutever so the turbo will bolt up right but im curious abput the powr upgrade or spooling times and such

R33 GTR turbos are T2-flanged, I'm almost positive. They're basically just T25's. Waste.

As said, go T28 or bigger.
