S13/ Sentra brake booster

Greetings all.
Im coming late to the boosted party. I was running a single fogger/100 shot nitrous setup for a while, but the nitrous supply plant that sends to GA went down. Finally finished my ka-t and got it running but the down pipe is right next to the bmc. Would it be okay to run a Sentra booster to help remedy the issue of clearance? Does anyone know the dimensions of it? Thanks in advance.

I went to the pullapart in norcross today for a Sentra booster, but the all looked thick. Then I found a 90s Toyota Tercel with no engine. The booster looked in good condition and 2 bolt master cylinder. I pulled it off and put it next to a hardbody pick up to reference. It looked simular, so I bought it.. My OG s13 master fit right on it perfect.. Hope it works on the fire wall. I’ll post up if it’s a success.

Well of course the studs of the Tercel booster are short.. dang
Might try to use some coupling nuts to make it work. Looks like the stock booster studs are 4.5cm. The Toyota one is 3.5cm and has same bolt pattern. Btw if anyone knows the thread and pitch of the nut?

That's how a lot of these oem retrofit mods are discover. I too love the junkyard. Congrats on the results.

So I took the time to re-think what I was doing, and found under the dash there are some sheet metal spacers behind the bracket of the brake pedal.

I thought wth. So I just bent them off.

This opens a lot of possibilities as far as booster options. You can use some floating spacers or washers I guess.

And re-drill the slot on the top of the brake pedal mounting point.

Might help others like myself. Don’t want to buy a 20yr old rusty s14 booster for 150$. Don’t know much people in the community.
Peace.

Well I got my car running but I thing the rear brakes are locking up(1st and 2nd gear pulls then brake). I hear some tire squealing. So I might inquire an adjustable prop valve to the rear. I’ll try to mount the valve in car and maybe some pressure gauges for front and rear idk. I do like the clean look tho.
