Engine machine shops
Anyone recommend any engine machine shops around northern Illinois or Chicago. Local machine shop won't size my sr20det rod bearings. I suppose they do not have the correct tools to do it. Thanks my friends!!

You can ship them to us at Mazworx and we can do just about any machine work you could ever need.

I shot an Email to you guys. It's just shipping screws me...I'm from sterling and freight from here to there almost cost as much as the machining work.

Have you only tried looking at freight shipping costs? If you want further details and maybe some shipping advice you can call us. We're open till 4pm EST and just ask for Manuel, he's head of sales and will be able to help you best.

Sorry for the double post, but also something to consider when talking about machine work and its cost is that you're not paying just for the work on the components, you're paying for the peace of mind that your assembly is bullet-proof and wont be costing you more doing it a second time. Take it from someone who's blown 2 SR's because I let my budget get the best of me haha.
