VQ35 TT S-chassis?

Has anyone seen a kit for a 350Z on a VQ swapped S13/ S14? Curious how bad the clearance is on the right side with the steering shaft.

Interested in making one work with a used Greddy/ JWT kit.

I can't seem to find pics or info on this anywhere.

Thanks!

I guess no need for hood huh?

I wanted to swap a vqhr in my 180 so bad, i had a whole car that was wrecked with 89k miles, but i had to let go of because of the hood issues, especially that its a hr motor so that makes it worse i guess.

Basically the same reason I got rid of my VQ. It sat above the hood and below the crossmember... That and the fact that they can't hold much past 450wtq stock block killed it for me.

Not to thread jack, but I really like what they have going on there in between the intercooler and radiator. Makes it look almost like 1 unit. Very clean.

yes i remember Yoshiokas car. It was RHD but still that means there is a chance...

I don't like the hood clearance either but i do like the motors and i already have one in my car so I'm gonna stick with it.

You can always add another u-joint into the column. Some V8 swap guys do it for header clearance.
