SR Garret T3/T4 50trim - .82 a/r external wastegate

Wanting to know if anybody has any experience running this turbo on an SR20DET and what opinion do you have of it?

Appreciate any opinions.

Thanks
Fellas.

I don't have experience in that specific turbo, but I have a T3/T4 50 trim turbo teamed with a Tial wastegate and to be honest, that is the way to go if you're built right and tuned properly.

To me the T25's that I see people using is a bit too small, but that depends on your hp goals and how well the engine is built.

One alarming factor is your a/r. That .82 might be take it's time to spool. Get the turbo mapping and that should give your tuner a better indication of whether or not your hp goals matches the turbo's efficiency.

What they said for your SR...That .82 a/r turbo would be better on a KA

^^ True. My 63 a/r turbonectics is a match made in heaven for the QR25DE engine. Have to love the high flowing displacement.
