95 wiring harness chaos
hey guys, so I'm new here and I'm doing a rather weird swap, 95 s14 ka into a foxbody mustang track built yet low budget beater missile thingy. anyways, so I picked up the engine and trans for 300 bucks its out of a 95, I saw the actual car so I am sure its out of an s14.
I bought a harness and ecu on ebay, it ended up having the injector harness stripped from it so i talked to one of my buddys and picked up an extra s14 harness but almost all of the connectors on the intake mani side dont fit up. the aav hooks up and obviously injectors but the engine I have has the tps with two solid connectors on it and the two grey plugs on the top of the manifold facing outward. I have one of the other style tps units sitting around (one soft wired plug and one molded) and that plugs right in. I have pulled the damaged harness apart and followed every wire trying to get my head around this as best as I can but its driving me nuts. should i just try to find a different intake manifold assembly and mount that up or what did i get myself into? Could I just make new connections and splice harnesses in? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys kb |

The two grew plugs on top of the manifold go to emissions equip, and the idle control gear.
Are you sure you're getting what you think you're buying? The engine sounds like OBDII

I thought 96 was the first year of OBDII, and 95 was still OBDI which is why the wiring diagram is listed as different in my FSM.
