recently got a new sohc harness for my ka24e and was swapping it in for my old shorted out harness...

i noticed however that the dropping resistor for the coil is a 2 wire setup with a little brown plug to plug into something..

well my car had a drop resistor with 4 wires and was all self contained.

so what are my options for figuring this out? im pretty sure the resistor on my harness was bad as i got strange readings checking it for continuity..

heres a pic comparing my deloomed harness with the 4wire resistor to the new harness with the 2wire resistor and 2 wire brown plug...ive tried searching but cant find anything and i would love to finally get my fucking car going again..thanks for your time guys!
