Here are a couple pics from today. What im waiting on to finish up is my intake manifold which im waiting on the Q45 throttle body flange to come in so I can have it welded on and then finish up the cold side piping. Gotta pick up some piping to do the exhaust, gotta do the catch can and install the upper coolant neck once it gets done being rewelded, and install all my vac lines.
Other than that, I set the base ignition timing and had to adjust the hall sensor a bit for it to register stat sync correctly and give an engine speed. Its back on all 4. Got the 16 volt battery in and charged up. Added some ground wires. |

The car is alive. Here are some pics. Im still waiting on my water neck and catch can to be done. But everything is working good. My tach is reading about 1/2 of what it should for some reason. Probably due to the new ignition pickup from the hall sensor. Gotta figure that out if I can, if no I can run the tach wire from the twinfire to the tach. But i think i can change it in the ems to read right.

Back home safely. Its been a long day all in all trying to get ready for this appointment. I would like to give a huge thanks to Jorge at JMS Racing for being all about the enthusiast, being chill, fun to talk to and hang with. He even bought me and my wife some dinner. This guys is by far one of the best guys Ive met in this scene. Thanks for the hell of a deal on the tune as well.
Id also like to thank Mazworx for the strong block and other parts, Id like to give a big thanks to Greg V for these killer Crower rods that took 45+ dyno runs pulling all the way to 9800 rpm for a majority of the pulls. The motor is running absolutely amazing. Wish I could have gotten to the 800+ whp mark but wastegate spring held me back. Gonna retune after with the stiffer spring and get that 800+ mark. For now the power should allow me to reach that 9 second goal. The boost by speed is all dialed in. 560whp for 1st and 2nd and then full 700+ for 3rd and 4th. Another thing i didnt get to do before the tune was an alignment and by the way my drag radials were tearing up on the tread it was definitely affecting it. Ill be getting that done before the Convention. 723whp Turbo Nissan Sentra SE-R Dyno - YouTube Here is a pic of the 716whp run, final numbers were 723 STD and 709 SAE Jorge has no doubt this motor will make 800+ whp by 36-37 lbs of boost. Just need that stiffer spring. |

Here is some pics of my new Down5hift sticker and my finished catchcan w/ hardlines. Not exactly what I originally wanted to do with it but I have a distributor in the way now. lol. Still turned out good.

Thanks man. Had to sell the manifold on here. Just didnt fit like I wanted it to. Had to cut a massive hole in the hood to clear it. Im gonna have a nice custom manifold to fit such a large turbo actually into the bay where I want it so i can also do a nicely setup intercooler piping and actually run a hood without having to chop it up besides that for the evo 8 hood vent.
But performance wise. The manifold worked flawlessly and had no issues. As for the QR25 trans. Its the 04 gearbox bolted directly to a jdm p12 bellhousing. They use basicly the same gearboxes. As for using it on my car, you have to convert the clutch to hydraulic which I did long long ago well before the swap, you gotta run either a p12 clutch and flywheel setup, jwt flywheel w/350z clutch, gspec flywheel with 240sx ka24de clutch, or comp twin disk 6 speed swap clutch which is what im running. As for axles you can find the proper axles to do a hybrid axle setup using b13 outer joints mated to the rest of the spec axles, or swap complete knuckles, hubs, brakes to the b15 brakes and use the stock spec v axles. Look great Ashton, sorry the fitment didn't workout. Definitely something that we would like to do on the car with the Given turbo size especially! Let us know if there's anything we can do for you to help with the new setup
