s13 S13 Overheating Diagnosis Help

So I Recently replaced the radiator, the upper and lower hoses, and a couple other Hoses and every time I would install the thermostat the car would over heat. So without the thermostat it wouldn't overheat so I ran it a few weeks without it and it was running perfectly fine and now it's overheating again. What else could it possibly be? I also heard a high pitch whistle noise coming out from under the intake manifold. Any suggestions on what to look for? Thanks!

Leak, blown gasket or just not sufficient cooling of the coolant, because no thermostat

You both still have air in the system.

yeah make sure you bleed all the air out of the cooling system. you can also do a pressure test and check your compression to see if you have a blown head gasket. you're experiencing the same symptoms i had when i finally discovered my head gasket was blown :/

Mine is doing the same thing, but ive bled the system 4 times already. Have new POS radiator, new water pump, new hoses, and new thermostat, and its still running hot, after i bled the system today it ran cooler for longer but after a little while the temps start to rise again, any possibility air is somehow getting in or did i just not get it all out?
Btw, i have no coolant overflow tank, just a line routed under the passenger headlight temporarily.

Are yall using cheap waterpumps? Aftermarket cheap waterpumps have usually the wrong sized blades, they are usually shorter and fatter. Causes cooling issues
