Will trade only for an WRX or WRX STi or Evo (or other AWD car newer than ‘02) and I will give you some cash. Contact: [email protected] or PM Car: 1992 240sx SE Model: Coupe SE Factory Color: AG2 G Red Miles: Engine about 50,000 Chassis about 160,000 Modification list Engine: SR20DET Redtop with cooling fins (from a ’94 Silvia, last year for the redtop) Hydrid Development FMIC with piping (using half of factory hotpipe and I just painted the upper coldpipe black) Megan Racing tubular exhaust manifold Megan Racing turbo outlet XS Engineering 3” downpipe (deletes cat) URAS RS 3” exhaust APEXi power intake Manual boost controller set at 12psi Walbro 255lph fuel pump Z32 fuel filter GReddy baffled oil pan GReddy rocker arm stoppers (RAS) Brand new engine mounts when engine was put in Bosch bypass valve (same ones used on Audi’s and VW’s) Koyo aluminum radiator Flex-a-lite (FAL) dual 12” electric fans Battery relocated to trunk Brand new O2, knock and TPS sensors Redline 10w-30 oil, just changed to Mobil 10w-30 (because I couldn’t find a local retailer of Redline) Drivetrain:Exedy Stage 2 clutch (street disk, its thicker than the racing disk) Mookeeh Short shifter S15 helical LSD Redline fluids Suspension/Brakes/Wheels Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers (coilovers) SPL Parts outer tie rods Z32 inner tie rods Adjustable tension rods (not sure on the brand, my buddy got them and I bought them off him because they are very beefy!) Footwerks rear upper control arms (RUCA’s) SPL Parts solid aluminum subframe bushings Suspension Techniques F&R sway bars with bushings Megan Racing upper strut tower bars F&R Megan Racing lower rear tie bar Z32TT (30mm wide) Calipers F&R (Brand new fronts, remanufactured rears..so basically all calipers are brand new, not junky used ones) Brembo slotted and zinc plated rotors F&R Z32 E-brake assembly installed and working Valvoline <DOT4 rated brake fluid Earl’s Plumbing stainless conversion lines Z32 1 1/16” (17/16”) brake master cylinder (brand new) Ichiba front 5-lug conversion hubs S14 SE rear 5-lug hubs MB Motorsports Competition 17x9 +27 wheels (7mm spacer up front) Pirelli 225/45/17 P6 All-season (about 40% left on front and 55% rears) 350z touring wheels (17x8 +33 rear, 17x7.5 +30 front) Rears with 215/45/17 Potenza’s (about 10% left, good for one last drift session!), no tires on fronts I had a pair of Crown Victoria Meshies but I cant find them… Interior: Momo Competition Steering wheel Momo hub Momo horn button Brand new gray carpet S14 seats Alpine headunit with iPod connection cable (CDE-9852) Alpine type-s 5x7 speakesr front (SPS-570A) Lightning Audio 5 1/2 speakers rear Rockford Fosgate 10” Punch HE subwoofer (has a tear, but still works good) Rockford Fosgate 2-channel amplifier Custom box (small) Carpet removed from door panels Burberry, yes Burberry glove box I have the digital (HUD) cluster in the car now, but also have an Analog clucter with harness Autometer 2-pod a-pillar gauge mounts Autometer ultra-lite boost gauge, mechanical (#4303) Autometer ultra-lite water temp gauge, electric (#4337) Autometer ultra-lite Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) gauge, electric (#4344), gauge works only sometimes…don’t know what wrong with it so its not hooked up right now, but the sender is taped and run into the turbo outlet Exterior: Silvia front end conversion Carbon Fiber GTR grill 3-projector headlights with working/hooked up fog lights Aftermarket sun roof (doesn’t invade on headroom) New paint about 10,000 miles ago (factory repaint AG2 G Red) Alignment settings: Camber front: -2.0 degrees Camber rear: -1.8 degrees Caster front: 7 degrees Toe front: 0.0 degrees Toe rear: 0.0 degrees The bad about the car: The car ran runs slightly richer than normal due to the TPS going out (why I said I bought a new one) thus the rear bumper, just above the exhaust, is burnt..or more some black stains, no bubbling of paint or anything The front bumper has quite a few rock chips on the lower portion. If you were to get a lip it would over about 80% of them up. You cant really tell unless you looking for them and 10ft or closer but they are still there The trim (like around the windows) on the exterior could use a good touch up with some black paint. The dash has some cracking above the cluster. You cant see it while your driving, so I forget about it until someone point it out! A rock flew up about a month ago and cracked the windshield pretty bad at the top on the driver side The car has been running rich due to the Walbro fuel pump but if you were to get an adjustable FPR (fuel pressure regulator) from NISMO for about $80 it will run perfectly fine The carpet doesn’t fit 100% factory but you cant expect an aftermarket carpet to! But it fits fine and has no stains! The sub is sort-of blown, but its an old sub and I don’t even think most who want this car care about the sub but if you want it, it will come with the car, if you don’t I will keep it I guess The blower for the heater and a/c only works sometimes. I think its just a loose connection but I have been too busy to work of the car lately..i am sure its an easy fix though (like I said, it WORKS, just sometimes so I don’t think it’s a bad blower motor) The A/C is all in the car but the hose that runs from the firewall to the compressor got cracked and leaked all the Freon out so no a/c (likewise, I just took off the belt). A new hose and you should be set, but don’t quote me on that…it was working before the hose got a hole in it (due to engine movement slowly rubbing a hole in the metal lines) That all that is wrong with the car…But there is WAY more good than bad about it! I just want to let you guys know about the car fully so your not thinking I am trying to rip you off Thanks for looking! burnt bumper Last pic with ROTA GT3 wheels (sold them to pay for 5-lug conversion) Carbon GT-R grill (and a nice view of SoCal in the background) The lighting was great that day, it wasnt too sunny, but it give good contrast to the car A preview and when I picked up my new wheels The engine bay, torn apart for new turbo parts and to clean up all the wiring Harness being redone. New Rear upper control arms (RUCA's) The stock T25 turbo Brand new/Remanufactured F&R calipers All calipers (they are aluminum so they weight the same as stocks, but are super huge compaired to the whimpy stock brakes) Front rotors (brembo) with calipers Calipers were painted with VHT 1000degree caliper paint (about a can for a pair because I put about 8 coats to get them extra glossy and make sure they dont chip). I sanded down the letters so they say NISSAN is silver, kinda cool haha Another shot Drivers side with RUCA's installed, also EARL's Stainless braided brake conversion lines Passenger side The car as of yesterday. I am going to paint the wheels black when i get new tires! Well I got bored of the stock carpet glove box so i decided to baller it up with some Burberry. Hope you like it! (fender gap LOOKS bad because you cant see the tire, but it looks nice in daylight) (car looks like a monster truck, but at least i can go over speed bumps!!!) I thought it was funny to take this photo because it shows just how freaking SMALL these cars are...i mean LOOK AT THAT ****!!!!!!! Last edited by td5turbo; 04-12-2007 at 02:04 PM.. |
