Kouki 2jz v160
I would like to start out by saying I am NOT in a hurry to sell this car. I drive it everyday and love it to death. however, i wouldn't mind owning something a little more practical or having a nice amount of cash in my pocket
the car is a an original 97 LE that i bought last year after a lady totaled my old s14. it was an auto with a blown up ka in it and had a gross looking kit on it. i pulled the motor and put in a VVTI 2jz with a v160 transmission and i have been driving it ever since. it is very reliable and never gives me a problem. i have been driving it for almost a year now. Its on stock twins that have been wired into TTC mode for reliability and less chances of burning up one of the turbos. it is on slightly higher than stock boost but still not turned up enough to hit fuel cut. I put a new timing belt and water pump and some other odds and ends on it before putting the engine in It has the full 300zx brake setup all the way around and mastercylinder. Nismo coilovers the wheels are advan's i cant recall the model. also has a Q45 vlsd rear diff with the higher capacity rear cover and higher spline count axles and 3.54 R&P. this was the closest ratio i could get to a supra without swapping in a diff that requires subframe modification. fuel system is all braided stainless with a bosch 044 intank. perfect for going single down the road which i will do if the car doesn't sell for the right price At the end of fall i took the car to the drag strip for the first time and put slicks on it. i burned up the stock clutch that was in the car and i had been having trouble with third gear grinding. so at that time i pulled the trans, put in a rps clutch, rebuilt the transmission (i have pictures) and put it all back together. I also did the q45 diff at this time so there aren't that many miles on any of these parts yet. as far as the body it isnt the cleanest ill be completely honest. I bought it as a roller and just wanted to get it moving. I have a new oem fender and side skirts and they are at the body shop being painted black so i can put them on the car. the bumper sags a little in the front because i cut the support to fit the front mount which is quite large, my intentions are to relocate the support brackets to fix this. I work on cars everyday however and it is tough to get myself motivated into working on my own. I would like to get 12,500 for the car because i really believe i can get most of that by parting it out. especially for the v160 which costs a pretty penny especially one with a fresh rebuild like this one has. i can assure you duplicating this car is going to cost you far more if you drop it off to someone and ask them to do it for you. easiest way to contact me is with a text 443 761 2976 trades: STOCK high mileage auto is300's plus cash, newer bikes, doesnt hurt to ask. not interested in any more s-chassis |

Original kouki right? Whats up with the Zenki tails?
Awesome car, I'd see it bringing 10-12 with the right buyer. Hell, I'd pick it up if I didn't have my hands and bank account wrapped up in my own 2j project. Glws amigo.

By using an actual fan shroud and the proper coolant temp sensor, most people try to use the Toyota sensor with the Nissan gauge and it will read as the car is over heating. Never had a single problem, even on the hottest days

what's up with the jug under the hood, coolant overflow?
where's the factory fuse/relay box? i'm amazed that you would let a 2j/v160 go for $12.5k unless there were some problems with it that you are not disclosing. |

Replicating this swap isn't expensive just takes time if you don't know what your doing total cost of this swap would be in the range of
2k for the 2jzgte with wiring harness and auto trans 400$ for the drive shaft 600$ for the conversion harness 180$ for the motor mounts 300$ r154 trans DAllas TX JDM has the right set of mind put more money into it and enjoy the real power of the car Then sell it
