No spark! Help!!!!!

i have a 1990 240sx with a KA24E single cam. I was teaching my buddy how to drive stick and he stalled it and it wouldnt start back up.

Let me back track. I was bringing it to my shop to do a transmission swap and i thought I would teach him on the old POS trans. once he stalled it, we pushed it to the shop. the next day, I found out the distributor went bad so I replaced it. It started up and I adjusted the distributor and then i killed it. i continued with the trans swap and more shit went bad. The wire from the coil to the computer had a short in it so i fixed that, and now the ground wire from the coil has power now and the wire is not shorted anywhere. is my coil fried? my power transistor? i am mind blown and i need help ASAP
