Simple street style S15 drift car
Hi All,
Had a few mates tell me about Zilvia so thought i'd check it out. Bought a stock s15 Spec R about 18 months ago and have been slowly bulding it up. This was the starting point, clean Spec R no aero. . It Started snow balling from here. I'll give a full mod list if people care to see it. One of many parts orders. Note GP Sports (dg5) coilovers, top buy. Missing quite alot but would also rather spam photo than parts lists. To just get it out last year i bought some RPF1s. They were never going to last. Got my interior sorted with a pair of Recaro SPA's etc.. Pic with the daily and support vehicle Did skids and broke 3rd gear on my first lap, due to new ORC twin plate and stock 6 speed. . Car has been sitting for 2 weeks with a broken trans while i wait for a new one to turn up. Just like everyone i have plans to make it quicker and look better. Thanks for reading |

Now that would be the smart move.
I have a 6 speed sorted for this weekend, I'll be ordering a new RB25 trans soon as I don't like the feel on the remote shifter on the Z32 box. Also have a brand new ORC twin plate that I've done maybe 500kms on that I can't use with the swap. So trying to not throw $2800 down the drain.

***Edit I didn't read your post correctly I thought you meant that you had that twin plate for the Z32/RB box. Anyways I'm loving the style of the build and it just makes me more and more sad that the S15 never made it state side! Last edited by hanzbrady; 07-07-2017 at 09:22 PM.. |

Thank you for the kind words guys. My plan to to stick with the quality clean theme.
Hanzbrady- I know a guy back in Australia that can do a cut and shut bellhousing for a RB/Z32 trans. Will get it ordered along with a new RB25 trans in winter. Will- currently using Buddy Club rails and I'm not a fan, going to order street faction fixed rails so I can go lower as it's only me that drives the car and they look quality.

So i thought it's time for a small update and a few photos.
Boring stuff first, got my new trans in and turns out it has a bad input shaft bearing so it pretty much sounds like i gave a dog box (vid on IG for anyone that wants to see), thinking my ORC twin plate isn't going help preserve transmissions. Managed to get the new water pump and belts in, still need to tidy it up but here is how the engine bay sits, i really didn't add much to the original post. Almost ready for D1SP on Saturday, just have to fix a lose belt and exhaust leak.
