R34 will be legal for import around 2024.
If you look at R32 GTR prices in the UK and Australia you will see that the prices have increased over the years. I believe they will hold their value just like the FD and Supra. My GTR is still available. |

What planet do you live on? A "few years"? You mean a fucking DECADE?! Also the R34 is already over priced today. A GTR is still a $40k car and they only made ~11k of them. Lamborghini made more Gallardos then Nissan made R34 GTRs. It's honestly very hard to determine what the future is for many imports. 80's cars like the 190 24v, E30 M3, 911, Quattro Coupe and Fox GTs etc have EXPLODED in price. Other cars like the 240sx, RX7 and 300zx have barely kept up with inflation. A $3,000 240sx in 2002 with inflation is valued at $4,000 today. So a Kouki S14 that would have sold for $9,000 in 2002 was valued at nearly $12,000 in today's money. No stock Kouki S14 sells for anything near that. Even today, $9,000 is a a stretch. Let's assume $7k. Same can be said for R32 GTRs. Sure, 5-10 years ago clean cars cost $12-15k. A 2010 GTR at $14k is $15,500 today. Also look at comparative relatives. Would would it cost to buy a S13 coupe, put a Silvia font on it, upgrade to 5 lug, upgrade to 300zx brakes, GTR seats and swap a RB26 into it? Oh and have it painted with an OEM quality job. You'd be over 5 figures and it would still be just RWD. |

I am sorry that some of you do not know basic economics. Limited supply and high demand = $. The r32 GTR price is only going in one direction and thats up in the coming years. Even after the r33 and 34 come out prices will and should still increase or level out. They wont come down. we shall see though. Hell I saw an article of the most recent r34 Vspec NUR grade 5 sell for 78,000 usd. I would expect that price to double at minimum when legal.
Clean car. GLWS. Great price too. |
