RB Running a compression test without the Intercooler fully hooked up

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've been searching around and haven't really found a direct answer.

I'm looking to buy an rb20det from this guy and am going to run a compression test on it today, however at this moment the intercooler piping isn't all fully connected. Would this throw off the compression test at all?

Definitely willing to connect all the piping as it's not much work at all but just curious if having the intercooler not fully hooked up would it lead to an inaccurate compression test?

Thanks

No it will not have any affect.

When you compression test, make sure you WRITE DOWN THE NUMBER. Make it as EXACT as possible like this: 132.5, 137.0, 134.0, 135.5

Each cylinder should be very close in reading, very little variation. ALL Of them need to be close together within a few psi of each other.

Take all the spark plugs out and crank it freely first, you want to be able to listen.
unless you are going to buy the engine based on compression numbers alone.
