S13 - S14 coil over difference

Just asking, what's the difference between the S13 and S14 coil over struts and springs?
Thanks

S14 rear dampers are longer...

if youre thinking about trying to use S14 coilovers on an S13 (or vice versa)... DONT!

do it right the first time, dont be a cheap ass and buy a full set of coilovers meant for your car!

its not being a purest... we have so many people in the 240sx scene that do things so broke dick its not even funny! questions like the one you posed are asked on a daily basis. there was a guy on here asking if he could cobble together a clutch setup using 3 different pieces simply because they were left over instead of just saving his monies and buying the proper clutch set up for his car.

and im not hating when i say this... theres just TOO much half assed shit that goes on in the 240sx world anymore that its irritating to read. instead of doing things right the first time, people tend to take the cheap approach and just throw something together. i guess im just to the point of where if im gonna do it, im gonna take the time to do it right once instead of wasting the time and money to do it right the 3rd.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that you were a purest. What I meant, (and said badly,) was that some people get their nose out of joint when they know a person is working on a non stock project. IE: Nissan using non-Nissan parts, Mitsubishi using non-Mits parts.
As a retired GM master tech I have seen the advantages using similar but better parts on my show car when possible. The switch to the 240 front suspension gives me a much wider selection of parts, and it makes it unique.
When I was much younger, ( before I went to work for GM,) I had a shop. My moto was, do it right the first time, a good mechanic doing a good job will make a good living, and never exceed an estimate wihtout a signature,
