im sure he can, but you know how expensive it is to ship a crate??
it would only be worth it if more than one person got together or if you seriously packed the shit out of that thing with a whole bunch of parts. and i mean like every empty space would be full

As far as I know, he can get you whatever kit you'd like but you'll have to find a container yourself. If you do so, he can have the items sent to the proper dock and loaded into the container that you've secured.
Australia and New Zealand have crap going back all the time so it's easy to organize a container with others. Here on the other hand...Not so much. I've asked a few venders if they can get the kit I'm after but no one has been able to... I'm still on the hunt |

touge factory has brought kits through, but i am almost positive they only do it through their branch in japan and not through parties like YAJ. maybe for streeter but i am unsure
but like i said, finding a crate isn't the problem - cause you can always BUY one - its the fact that shipping space for the crates are just so expensive that it pretty much isn't worth the price. only if you were to bring over a whole bunch of shit to either sell or keep

I've checked with Touge Factory as well, but they can only import brands available to them (Unless locals gets hooked up).
And yeah, it's expensive to buy space in a container, unless you are bringing back a crap ton of stuff. Anyways, I'm not here to clog up the thread with my troubles Bring on items I can drool over and hopefully purchase! I LOVE this thread! |

vs-kf's also came in low disk form, if these are low disk they won't clear at all.

What makes it funnier is i only saw the ad 4hr before it ended, threw in a random bid and hoped for the best.. My actual bid was 75,000JPY and i would of still been over the moon at that price getting them for 50,000 made my weekend very good! Due to our conversion they are definetly right on the money, if anything when i compare them to all my other wheels i got them for rather cheap, my old pair of VSKF 18x10 -5 perfect condition and O Disk(big dish?) sold for $1600AUD. Its now time to find some other parts to get shipped at the same time =]

With the yen rate the way it is right now it just isn't feasible to make any money doing it - unless you did orders only and could get like 10 people to order stuff at once. I ended up losing a little money, but I considered it a valuable learning experience. There is definitely a lot of fees and taxes you can't really read about or anything until you go through the whole process. This was the crate I got: Shipping and all state side fees for that crate was ~2700 bucks. The bulk of the shipping charge is in yen, and I unfortunately made that payment when the yen rate was dipping into the lower 80s. In that crate I fit: 5 pairs of side skirts 2 front bumpers with lips 3 sets of rear valances 2 180sx seats 1 180sx spoiler 1 326 power sized spoiler 1 S14 Ks wing and misc stuff to fill space - S14 tail lights, civic headlights, a 2-way diff, and one or two other small things. The place I went through built the crate, packed everything up and handled the Japan side of everything. They can do crates half that size, but shipping isn't half that price, its only a little less. I had to get a customs broker to deal with the US side of it all (which was a massive pain in the ass).
