FML!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so lifter are bled and installed went to put the cams in....and the number 2 exhaust cam cap hole decided to be a little bitch and all the fucken threads pulled out...lovely....just my fucken luck.....

so i decided im tired of this shit!!!

gonna buy another motor stick it in get the car running for now....take the old one out and take the head to a machine shop to see if it can be repaired...if not source another head...and build the PISS out of the motor...

so before i put my motor in i decided that i would start doing a wire tuck and brake line tuck.

Harness all layed out removing tape etc

here is another harness i have that i was using for some refrence since somone has my FSM atm

here it is all laid out. removing some circuits that i do not need

here is the bundle of wires that will still have to run to the engine bay

here is the mocked up length (the big loop on top will be cut out)

so i will only end up cutting and shortning about 28 or so wires, everything else has to be extended to the engine compartment.

The final location of the fuse and relay box will be in the Glove box

just have place an order for a few things and i will have everything i need to do my brake line tuck as well

ok so wiring is now cut to length..

all joints have been soldered and heat shrinked...all that it left to do it install and test..

also got all this shit form summit racing..

drilled 2 holed in firewall for bulkhead fittings

then ran 2 SS lines from BMC via banjos to bulkhead

from there it will go to hardline to the other side of firewall. then 1 ss line to passenger caliper and a hard line to rear stock brake union.

the front Driverside gets 1 SS line from BMC to caliper.

does anyone have a solution to flare 3/16ths SS line, im needing to put in a 37 degree flare in it and i cant seem to get it to work.

whats happening is the tubing is being pushed down rather then being flared. also the die on the tool has also been damaged from the tubing. the tool it a summit racing peice..(POS!!!!) so do i need to get a special 37 degree flare tool for SS line?

also i read that i shouldnt be using a regual tuding cutter for SS tubing...somthing about cutting it cold n making the material super hard to flare.

do i just need to dtich the SS line infavor for regual steel brake line???

got the wiring harness in the car and starting the lay-out

got the passenger side brake lines done. Braided SS for front pass side and a custom hard line for the rear

and the lines runnin across the inside of the firewall

also got dash bar installed and set up routing of the main harness and dash harness..

i origionally got them from ebay, but they came from http://www.driftlines.com/ the site is down i bought them a few years ago.

its really not that bad...it does looko intimidating but as long as u have an FSM and take ur time its pretty straight foward.

i like the brake bulk head fittings.. thats real similar to how i plumbed my hydro ebrake.. i want to redo it with the steel braided lines and replace the front passenger brake line as well...
