s14 3 or 6 gauge radio bezel

hey guys, im just testing the waters here and seeing if this community would be interested in something i recently made recently because i think pillar pods are cheesy and theyre a dead giveaway for cops to pull you over.

i had to cut away part of the bottom to make this fit my transmission for my ls1 swap but itll be straight for all others.

it has the capacity to hold 6 guages, its made from 14 gauge steel so its very sturdy, weights about 3 pounds. it uses factory mounting so it comes off and on very easy. yes it deletes your radio and ash tray but who cares. depending on how many of you like this i might start selling them but i will definitely refine the fitment and overall look of it. the final refined product wont have the rubber tubing i had to put around the outside (to fill gap from bad measuring).

looks badass, you could always have the option for 3 extra gauges or a slot for the radio

What kind of assurance can you offer that the hole spacing, spacing from the top, etc will be dead on?

I like the idea, I prefer to delete my center vent (s13) so i can run a double DIN radio. Might want to look into that if you're serious about making production runs of things. Maybe add the same spray texture broadfield was using for a nice OEM-ish look

yeah im running a double din and i love it way too much rather run my gauges thru the center vent . my boost gauge is currently under my cluster right side behind the ignition which sucks if u have any extra keys it blocks visual on half the gauge

This was a prototype I made in my garage to fit my own needs because I couldn't find one online so ya it's off because I eyeballed it. If I do go and make these they will be laser cut and exact to the mm. This is made for s14 so if we delete the two vents in the middle then we have basically no air. I will probably sell them for around $40-60 and they will be predrilled with 3 holes and painted black.

If you guys have any more suggestions I would love to hear them. How is my price range target? What is a good "money back guaranteed" period? Etc...

This is for the small amount of people that don't want pillar pods and don't want to delete the HVAC system of vents and are willing to live without a radio (i.e. Daily driven weekend warriors who only listen to exhaust). That's why idk if the market for this is big enough

Maybe a version to keep the radio and just have 3 gauges. But how the mounting works for the bottom you will always have to delete the ash tray

They're just a thought at this point. I need to make a final prototype and get quotes to laser cut them. I'm just gauging interest at this point
