i swap CA18det to SR20det to S13. (Auto)
since that i having a lot of problem and spend a lot of money for nothing.
i send my car to workshop for the swaping. and i found that the SR20 harness is sucks (they use the old harness and just cut and tape here and there for the curcuit)

now the problem is the engine is really hard to start when its cold.
auto transmission cannot shift very well. (only can gear up by pressing the gas padel all the time, need high rev to gear up)
RPM meter is not working.

Anyone can help me before i giveup? pls . . .

These questions are far too general.

Sounds like you went to a very bad shop and they screwed you over

i have a problem with a transmission shifting. what i means is it will not shift up when the gas padel is release, only will shift up after reached certain speed. if not reached certain speed it will not shift up, it will remain high rev.

i already replace the gearbox and ecu twice but the result is still the same.
is it some wiring problem, sensor problem or is it something wrong with the solenoid?

i hope my explanation is easy to understand coz i dont realy know about car problem.

your not going to get much knowlege of auto trannys and sr's here on this board. If its all transmission problems you could just do what you should do and throw a 5 speed off in it.
