s13 vibration in 2nd-3rd gears

bought my first s13 last night. Biggest concern at the moment is that she vibrates in 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear. It feels as if it originates from the rear end, but that might just be me. (the vibration is similar when you shift to early and the motor boggs down)

get an alignment!
or new tires!
or both!

Check rotors and brakes as well.

Depends on what you plan doing with that 13.

Z32 brake system is bolt on and provide a nice upgrade, but you need bigger wheels than oem ones.

If you are going to race it, i saw a groupbuy for a complete wilwood brake system, front and rear, with 2 piece rotors and aluminium forged calipers on NRR forums ( i think it was ). The GB is over but i guess you can get the parts from the guy anyway. Of course, this is not the same price.

If you have the 1st gen with 253mm front rotors, you might want to upgrade to the 2nd gen 280mm rotors. You will need rotors and brake caliper bracket to upgrade.

I am positive there are other possibilities, but i think these are the most balanced you could use. trackdays / race > wilwood front & rear, hard driving > Z32 + better pads front & rear , normal driving > keep oem (brembo rotors are nice)

Make sure the Balancing on the wheels are good before you buy rotors.

not looking for a huge mod, i have no intention on racing/tracking/drifting. just want a nice setup with low brakedust, good price, and hopefully longevity. I will also begin searching the forums on brake setups. Thanks in advance for any and all advice yall have for me

Also can be the support bearing for drive shaft.
if so, go with a one piece drive shaft.

why change the entire shaft instead of just the bearing? Im asking because i suspected the drive shaft support may be the cause, and iv started pricing/hunting for one.

And also what are the pros/cons & cost of a 1pc shaft?

Its a waste I replaced center carrier bearing , but the universal joints cant be replaced. And I still got vibration similiar to yours , starts around 30 - 35 mph. Also I had bad trans mount , so I upgraded to the megans , motor and trans mounts seems to have help but not gone , Im sure its the Uni joint which did have a resistance at a certain point.

1 piece shaft is my next step and sure it will solve it.
