Right on, i knew pulling those studs would make it a lot easier, i was just under the assumption i could get the lower and upper intake out all at once, in one piece. I will get a stud puller and pop these guys off in the next day or so, thanks for the help!

You can, but it's 100x easier to just take them apart and reassemble them later.

I doublenutted all 4 of my studs and replaced them with bolts from a spare manifold.

Tips:
1. Put on first nut. Tighten down all the way pretty tight.
2. Put on second nut. Tighten down as much as possible with the socket only on the second nut.
3. TIGHTEN the nuts at the same time with a long socket, until you hear the stud crack loose. It might help to tighten-loosen tighten-loosen until it cracks.
4. Use an open wrench on the first nut (the inside one) and loosen. The stud should spin.

If you get the stud off, and the nuts are stuck together on it, either find new nuts or have fun .

I also did this "double nut" method. Look for it on youtube, there is a video there of someone showing you how to. It was surprisingly easy to pull them out that way.
