Damn, rough reading that you had to sell that hatch. I was gonna ask about the DM turbo kit but I see you never got to drive it.
Your coupe looks nice! Excited to see what you do with it. |

Alright, just a quick update as parts start coming in. I am transitioning from a contract to full time at Oculus. SO I need to fly down to San Francisco next weekend for orientation.
Anyway, some parts have shown up:

Coming along awesome man.im probably going to end up going with a rack from them as mines leaks and moans and groans at the bump so I'm replacing it all at some point.

I originally ordered street faction brackets for the seats, but on back order it seems and I couldn't wait.
425 Motorsports is literally 8 mins away, so I popped down there to grab one of their Planted low mount bracket. Super happy with the bracket, honestly great, lowest bracket I've had!

Ordered more parts with the help of 425Motorsports:
Omp WRC-R seat, planted brackets to move the fx1 to the passenger side. New Sparco spline QR, switched to street faction bracket for drivers side. Also ordered wisefab with ackerman fd kit and gktech rear drop knuckles. Up next i order the engine and parts for that.

What made you go with voodoo13 arms over say SPL? I'm stuck between the 2.

First event I want to hit is Memorial day weekend. I pick up the Sr in 2 weeks, leaving 1 week to get to Beaverton, and 2 days to install before the event.
Spent the weekend installing the gktech knuckles and voodoo13 solid subframe bushings: And rear setup complete, still have about -3° camber in back that I can't get out till I get some fenders. Needs some body love, but that'll come last.

Thanks, it'll get there
Quote:
I'm using the voodoo13 arms with the gktech knuckles, there seems to be clearance issues if the adjusters come loose on the RUCA's. It damaged the axle and boot, dented the RUCA. Issue now if trying to prevent it.

It's till up in the air, but I'd aim for 350ish. So basics most likely, cams, turbo, inj oil pan etc.
I seem pretty good on suspension now, working out details for a kit and fenders the next week.

After some careful thought, I decided to ditch the wisefab. I just couldn't handle the extreme amount of poke, like 70+mm fenders are needed.
