Tube Front ends! Post up different set-ups.

As the title says, post up some different pics of tube front ends, I am in the process of building an S14, ditched the Sr, and going with a V10, we already have the motor in and it's almost time for the tube front end and want to see what options are out there for the front.

Tube front ends.
Removable tube front ends also!
post up what you got, and maybe talk about the pros and cons of each setup if you happen to know them.
here are some I saw so far:

this seams to be removable?

HAHA, well, we are still working on the tranny tunnel and firewall, but motors in and done, I will do a build thread once the cage is being worked on,
and thats the reason for this thread to get some ideas for what style tube front best suits my build..

Horrible cell phone pictures. But a friend of mine and I built this yesterday. With removable bumper support. My original frame on the chassis was bent to all hell.

my front crash bar is removable , the tub front end on the other side was welded to the chassi . my intercoller became the head light bracket and the rad bracket !!!

So what size tubing are you guys using for the main downtubes from strut to framerail? What about all the other sizes for support pieces, etc.? About how much of each are you using?

Also, what thickness (guage is it?), sheet metal are you using for mounting points?

We're pretty much using cage material for the tubes. DOM 1 3/4.

What mounting points do you speak of?

Also, about how many feet of each size did you use? Trying to figure out how much I need to get.

The connection between the tube and tub is 16 gauge sheet with dimple dyes.

The front radiator support is 3/4 tube with 14 gauge wall.

Other then the cage material, I don't really know how much we used for everything else. We sorta just went by what we had.

Might be a dumb question but, how many people design their tube fronts to disperse energy during crashes? Some of the fronts I've seen lately look like they're substantially stronger than the OEM rad support and front end parts which leads me to believe that in a hard enough crash they're just going to send all of the energy into the rest of the chassis causing massive damage...
