Bee R Setup Question

I searched all the way back to 2003 and wasnt able to find the answer to my question. I have the Bee R revlimiter installed and working fine in my car. The problem is that Bee R suggests hooking up the secondary/staging limiter to the ebrake switch. This makes launching a pain in the ass because I have to drop the ebrake handle and the clutch at the same time to launch. My question is where else can I wire the secondary rev limiter into. Bee R suggests in their intructions to hook it up to the "gears" (or ebrake switch) but they dont explain how one would do this. Has anyone wired theirs up differently? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yea the car is a RPS13.

Thanks in advance

Well it is a 2 step limiter. The first limiter is set 500rpms before the factory limiter so that I have a Ignition cut instead of fuel. Safer for obvious reasons. The second limiter is currently set at 3500rpms and is only active when the ebrake is engaged. I am planning on using this as a staging limiter as it creates 5psi of boost coming off the line. I want to engage this "staging limiter" by some other means than the ebrake.

I've got two easy ideas. Install a micro-switch under the cluth pedal, so right when you lift it off the floor it disengages the limiter. Or you could use a shift-knob or steering wheel mounted switch. There are a lot of shift-knobs in the domestic market that have a switch for stuff already built into them.

Yeah you can use a momentary switch.

The thought to do that did cross my mind and I guess it would be the best option. I think that is what I am going to do. Thanks for the help guys.

actually there is already a clutch switch... the clutch switch is the best way to do it for the launch but your main rev limiter isnt going to be so great however with it like that you can use it as a NLTS(no lift to shift) setup... will definately give you some faster runs
