Go through the FSM and find the power wires, everything is here. This is your best friend...

when was the last time you took out the window switch assembly and tried cleaning the contacts inside of the switches? might wanna start there before tracing wires... those old copper contacts build up with a bunch of a crap over time and just all of a sudden stop working one day. this has happened in almost ALL of my s13s. i took apart the window switches, cleaned the contacts with a soft wire brush and alcohol, reassembled the switch setup and they worked perfectly again.
also, pull your voltage regulator (white box inside the door), take it apart and make sure all of the pins are good near the connector that the wiring harness plugs into... the solders on them like to snap due to age. takes 5 minutes to redo the soldering on the broken ones. |

Listen to see if the motor comes on when you hold the button.
If it does, it's torn a particular bushing in the window regulator (and somebody could fix it, but you should probably buy a reman unit). |

Keep diagnosing. Have you downloaded the FSM? You need to read about the car and the systems that you're messing with, then you'll know what you're doing, ehh? |
