Question Pressure Plate Bolts???

Does anyone know if a KA and sr have the same pressure plate bolts. I bought new bolts for my five speed swap(new exedy kit) and I was installing them and to my supprise, im missing one.

So does anyone know if a ka pressure plate bolt(easy to get at dealer without having to special order it) will fit an sr ???

I think it would, no need to change a bolt pitch and size...

Oh well, thanks for the help.

Im pretty sure ka and sr bolts are different. If you can wait 2-3 days I can ship you one or two pressure plate bolts for an sr20.

Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Also you do know that the fwd sr20 pressure plate bolts are the same right? You can get those from the dealer. They are just expensive...like 8 dollars a bolt I think.

Measure diameter, pitch, and length and go buy some at your local hardware store. I'd buy them from the dealer for the peace of mind.

Pressure plate to flywheel? The bolts that connect the pressure plate to flywheel? I went to autozone and got some small ones that fit with the teeth that hold onto the plate so they don't become loose. They were good like that. Haven't had a problem since. I torqued them down to 35

Ok, nissan told me that the part numbers are the same for a 240sx(any year) and the 93 sentra ser.

So if you need prssure plate bolts for your sr, you have a few options.

hate to bring up old topics, but did you ever get your pressure plate bolt for the KA or equivalent.

Where did you get the bolt and was it oem replacement or hardware store bolt, and if so what are the dimensions of the bolt you used.

Thanks

I used a 93 ser pressure plate bolt. A guy at the local nissan dealer said the ka bolt and ser bolt are the same.

So if they are not im just going on what a nissan parts guy said.

Forgot to mention that the bolt was the same exept the oem sr bolts I had were 14mm and the ser bolt was a 13mm. They were both the same thread size.

you can find them at any hardware store that carries bolts and nuts. just use the same grade. i assume these are grade 8 or higher.

I'm not sure what the big deal about pressure plate bolts was. They are torqued to 16-22 ft/lb of torque per the fsm. And they are nothing special. Better to get all new bolts from lowes/ace/homedepot than to buy a used ones. Put a bit of threadlock on it l, and call it a day.

I hope you got new belhousing bolts because they are different between auto and manual.
