Horn not working on new QR wheel setup

I have an s14 that had a fully functioning horn prior to me going to a qr setup.

I am running an nrg slim hub, nrg 2.8 qr, and a real nardi classic with nardi two pring horn button. I have reverses the wires on the horn button but that did not resolve the issue.

I cannot imagine this can be that complicated. What should I be checking?

Thanks in advance

I can't remember exactly but I vaguely remember in my s13 cutting one wire from the OEM connector and connecting it to a pin with a female connector.

There is a green wire if I remember right that goes to a connector on the backside of your clockspring, you need to run a wire to that. otherwise you have an open right there and when you press the horn button, it won't ground out and never reaches the horn.
