HUD giving me problems

When I start my car my digital dash and HUD will display the speed. Then just disappear. They stay on for about a second give or take. My speed sensor is working because my turbo timer still displays speed. Also if i turned the ignition off while rolling and turn it back on the speedo and HUD both display the proper speed. Has anyone ever experienced this and what should I do about it?

i have fixed these before its probably the capacitor search and it will tell u exactly how to fix it. If u can't soder it your self u can just take it to a TV repair place and they will soder it for you cheap usually.

^yea there a post on here that show you where to solder. It is usually the capacitor or the two boards on top of the speedo in the cluster.

I knew about the cap thing. I was thinking it may be something different because it would come on then turn off! I am going to take it out and solder it though. I have a badass soldering station.
