I just acquired an e30 with an SR20DET swap. It has already been swapped over to ls2 coil packs. I, however, in an ignorant effort to upgrade accidentally purchased MSD ls1 coil packs. Honestly it was just because they were 50 bucks. But, do I literally just need to swap the pigtails or do I need to make a new wiring harness?

the pigtails should be the same. but the dwell settings might not be.

Do you mean that the wires are in the same series left to right from ls2 plug to ls1 plug?

I'd return the MSD coilpacks as they are garbage and fail more often than me on tinder dates.
